The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Worst Poetry in the Galaxy

Pop-up book dedicated to crap poetry.

Chapter 7 of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is so damn funny. The author, Douglas Adams, called out his mate, Paul Neil Milne Johnstone, for writing the worst poetry in the galaxy. And doxxed him while at it.

The literary set up was great too: Adams first described two flagrantly hideous alien civilizations that produce terrible poetry. Then, casually, at the end of the chapter, he drops that Johnstone’s poems are worse.

Inspired, I made a pop-up book that similarly countdowns the 3 worst poetries in the galaxy. I ain’t got beef with Paul Johnstone, so I instead dog on Sumedh Dhanvanthry, who thinks he can write.
